Alumni and Friends of Biology

BIOLOGY ALUMNI AND FRIENDS PARTY

As part of PSU's Almuni Weekend, the Biology Department throws a welcoming party on the Friday before the weekend festivities. There is a seminar presented by an alumnus from 4-5 PM, followed by a graduate student poster session and party from 5-8 PM under the whale. The event is a highlight for faculty members, as they get to swap old memories with the students that have brought us so much fun. It is also great to see how successful the alumni have been. The alums get to meet the new faculty and share in the excitement of the graduate student research.

If you are an alumnus and would like to receive information concerning Departmental and Alumni events, please contact Randy Zelick by email or telephone (503-725-3086) to be added to the mailing lists.

DEVELOPMENT

The Biology Department has the following foundation accounts that exist to provide a vehicle for alumni and friends to support the endeavors of the Department. We are indebted to the generosity of alumni and friends who have funded these accounts. If you would like to support the important activities of the Department of Biology, please donate to the PSU Foundation specifying the name of the account you wish to support. Alumni and friend donations have made a tremendous impact on our ability to serve the students, and we are very grateful for your generosity. THANKS!
